Hardening is a continuation of freezing process. It is used for freezing the food products like ice cream when it is packed in packaging materials in semi liquid form by reducing the temperature below -18.C. 
 
   1. Hardening is suitable for low and high temperature controlled products like ice creams
   2. Hardening offers high thermal performance and maintains the temperature of the internal environment
   3. Provide low air leakage performance
